Family Christmas Tree 2001-2008

The theme for photo hunters this week is In Memory. I didn’t want to make a sad post though, and I remember my friend Wednesday often. Soooo today my In Memory is of the old Christmas Tree. This photo is of me looking up at it deviously after it was put up my first year here. I had fun that year climbing it, shaking it, you know getting to know the tree. It wasn’t until Christmas of 2008 that I finally broke the tree. It looked pretty sad by the time they had to take it down. I will miss you Christmas Tree, and look forward to tormenting your replacement.

Photo Hunters – Walking

Pinky is letting me do the photo hunting this week. I had fun looking through all of the pictures, and this week’s theme was kind of tough for a kitty. I found one Daddy took this week of me walking to sniff a dandelion seed. When I get to go outside with them and walk in the grass I make sure to sniff everything I can, and walk all around. I have my nose pointed and ready to sniff when I get to it.

Photo Hunt Protect/ion

Theme for this week’s photo hunt is Protect/ion. I am posting a picture of me protecting my precious hat. I am protecting it from Ash,because he was looking to come after it.

Yesterday was an odd day. Mamma petted me this morning and talked before going to sleep. She said that a new kitty was coming to live with us. I thought she was just talking jibberish, and paid her no attention. Then Daddy and the boy came home, and the pet taxi came out. Ash climbed in it, and no one was trying to get me in it, so I was happy. When they left with it empty I thought yeah, that thing is going to the dump. The house got all quiet for a couple of hours.

When they came home that darn pet taxi was in Daddy’s hand. They disappeared into the other room. Then daddy came out to go shopping. Ash went to investigate under the door and he said he saw black paws, and some black furs. Surely it was a stuffed toy, not a real kitty. Then we heard it meowing. I am not pleased. I have seniority after all, and should have been consulted. We’ll see how this goes. I saw her pictures from her ad, and well she is adorable. What do you all think of her?

Pee Ess Update-We heard them talking at the door. Our new Sisfur is named Boo. Ash and Boo checked each other out under the door, and so far so good. There was no hissing which shocked us all.

PhotoHunters Purple

This is our first week being photo hunters. We had so much fun seeing everyone’s hunts that we decided to join too. The theme this week is purple. You would think it would be easy to find since it is Mamma’s favorite color. Daddy put Mamma’s purple bandana on my neck for today. I don’t much like bandanas, but it’s ok for a little bit. Do any of my friends get these things put on them from time to time? I know Daisy has some of her own.
