I got a chance to talk to Boo from under the door today. Well she kind of had to be interviewed if she planned to live here.
Ash: Hi, my name is Ash. First things first, who are you, and where did you come from?
Boo: My vet papers say Black Stray, but the people here are calling me Boo
Ash: Those people are Mamma and Daddy, but they are really just a staff to cats, ask them if you need anything. Where did you say you were from again?
Boo: I didn’t, but a very nice lady captured me from a college campus, and took me to get spayed, have my shots, and then kept me until I got adopted out. They think I was living with some college kids in the dorms, and then set loose to live with the campus ferals, but no one is perfectly sure, and I don’t like to talk about it.
Ash: Spayed? So they neutered you?
Boo: No, in girls it is called spay.
Ash: That’s right, you’re a ladycat.
(I took a short break to make sure my breath was fresh and grabbed some kibbles to freshen it up.)
Boo: How old are you? You seem a little older than me.I am about one myself.
Ash: I am almost two. This is my interview of you though Boo.
Boo: Sorry
Ash: No problem, so what have you been doing in the room? Sometimes you go where I cannot see you under the door?
Boo: I found a nice spot under their bed that I am enjoying. I can come out when I like, and then snuggle back up there. I have explored the room pretty much, and let them pet me. There is a nice fuzzy brown blanket I am having fun ‘making biscuits’ on. I played a little bit of ball, and ball and string with the new Mamma. I thoroughly rubbed myself all over their laptop, bed frame and on them, so I suppose they are mine now.
Ash: Not so fast, we share the staff here. You’ll get the hang of it. I was told they adopted you so that we could play together. Do you like to play chase, jumping and wrestling?
Boo: Well I like to play, but the other kitty that was captured with me, she wasn’t real playful.
Ash: I am sure we will have fun. I need to go tell Pinky what I learned about you, she is very suspicious of new comers. She was of me even when I came in. She’s that white kitty with the big eyes you have seen under the door.
Boo: Bye Ash, my new friend.
Ash: Bye Boo, welcome to our home
She seems alright by me, and she is very pretty and smells good. I sure hope she likes to play with me when she gets to come out.
Later,
Ash

I am a thankful kitty today. First I am thankful that I did not have to go back to the V today, it was postponed until next week. Also it rained and so the roofers were off yesterday, and I got plenty of sleep. The staff really should have considered our comfort and taken us to a hotel for the time they are working on it. If they weren’t being loud banging on my ceiling, Ash was loud as he ran around watching for them to fall through. They never fell through. So I was thankful for a quiet, rainy day. I am thankful for the chicken and beef we got nibbles off from the staff’s dinner. It was very nice of Mamma to help us set up this blog, and I am thankful for that, and the interesting new friends we have made. Now we get to read about kitties all over the globe.
Lookie I gots my first award. A kitten named
