Awards on Friday

Hi kitties and friends. The fair has been in town this week, and we live very close to the fairgrounds. This can be good and this can be bad. The bad is that every night at 9 O’ Clock at night they start lighting off boomy things. They aren’t tooo scary, but they make you think a storm is coming. Now we are used to it and it will be over soon. When it does get noisy around here I like to go under things. Usually the couch but sometimes the table or bed works too. The other bad is the traffic, but that only bothers the staff so it’s ok. They do have a Cat Show at that fair; I might like seeing that one. I don’t think the rides would be too fun but they might be.

We got an award in our e-mail. Someone from Pet Supplies Place awarded us as Cool Cat Site of the Day. This made us purr a lot. Thank you very much for thinking of us. Then we found out that our furriends Angel and Kirby think our blog has heart. We want to pass it along to these blogs because they all have heart. It says in the rules we only pass it to 6 though. Thank you Angel and Kirby, we really like our award. I hope everycat and friend has a wonderful weekend.

International Box Day

Our friends at Zoolatry are always doing something fun and exciting.  Today is International Box Day. We love boxes here. Well Boo doesn’t seem too interested but Ash and I do like them. Here are some pictures of us enjoying boxes. Our friends we have visited have some nice box pictures up too. It’s a fun day in the blogosphere.

Today is also our Daddy’s Birthday. We’re going to give him lots of kitty fur on his clothes for his Birthday. We think this is a good gift for the staff. What do you all give your beans?

watching friends, friends Friday

I am a little sad. Mamma hasn’t taken us to visit our friends the last couple of days. She just took on a second job, and is learning a new sleep schedule. What’s up with that, learning when to sleep? They really should take lessons from us. Whatever she said she would help us visit this afternoon. This picture is of me watching Orange Kitty outside. Daddy got to pet two little baby kittens at work yesterday. There were two six-eight week old kittens out behind his work, and a lady he works with brought in a carrier, she is taking them to live with her. One is brown/black and the other was a Tuxie he said. We think he was lucky to get paid for petting cats yesterday. I hope we get to see you all this weekend.

Friends Friday part 2

Last Friday we told you about Orange Kitty. A few of you wondered what he did. Orange kitty is a hunter. He brings a lot of rabbits and things home to his staff. One time he left a mole or a groundhog (staff wasn’t sure what it was) in our yard. We think he got distracted on the way home. He has another kitty that lives at his place. We don’t know if they are a boy or a girl but we call them Other Kitty. We see less of Other Kitty than we see of Orange Kitty. Orange Kitty let Daddy get these pictures of him, and a few pettings in, he had orange furs on him when he came in. Other Kitty posed too. We don’t know them well, but they are both cool in our books.

Out for a hunt today

Hello there

friends friday

This is out first Friends Friday post. We don’t go outside much at all. Ash is the only one who does, and he has to with the staff. We have had friends that we saw through the window though. The one we see the most is ‘Orange Kitty’. He has lived here as long as we have. Actually he was here first. He has a name, but the staff started calling him orange kitty and it stuck. Since he prefers to do his own thing he is hard to photograph, but Daddy tried. Orange kitty is a cool cat. We think Wednesday used to follow him when she went outside.

A lot of you know Maggy and Zoey.We remember them from a post made where Zoey became like the Cheshire kitty. She made a great mad Cat.  They made this for their friends The Sherwood Bunch and said people could use it on their blogs. We added it to the side of ours. We hope things start to look up for them.

This weekend we hope that all of our friends are safe and healthy. Have a wonderful weekend.
