Thankful Thursday

all sleeping so well

Today is Thankful Thursday. I am actually thankful for my sisfurs today. See how they let me sleep so close to them? I chase them and aggravate them, but they must know I love them. I’m thankful that they are forgiving and kind too. It sure would be boring around here having to confuse the staff all by myself.

my tummy on Tuesday

Hi everykitty,it’s Boo. I was inspired by the flexible kitties doing yoga and picked up some poses myself. Here is my favorite one. You can see my tummy furs have still not grown back and I was spayed back in March. I wonder when I will be covered up in beautiful black furs again. It’s not so bad having a bald tummy in this warmer weather though.

Purrs,

Boo

Mancat Monday Close up

This is my close-up Daddy took. One of my new favorite spots is the retired computer chair. It’s still in the bedroom; it’s just not at the desk anymore. It holds coats and cats. I especially enjoy getting my furs on the coats, but they don’t wear them as much now in spring so this is not as good as it could be.

Thankful Thursday with Ash

pleased-with-myself

It’s almost Friday, this means it is Thankful Thursday. I am thankful for the control I have over my staff. I was supposed to be banned from going outside the other day. Between my sweetness and love, and my persistent yowling I got to go out anyway. I am thankful that I have trained them to do as I wish a good portion of the time. If only the ladycats here were as trainable as the staff. We could play chase and jump all day long. The other part I am thankful for is this. No matter how annoyed they get by my yowling, and demanding, I still get to curl up on their bed.

Ash

and then there was Boo

I think my new brofur and sisfur have told you a little bit about me. As of last Friday night, my name is Boo. Isn’t that cooler than black stray? The first year of my life has been a bunch of uncertainties. About three weeks ago a very nice cat lover took me from the college campus, and got me all ready for a forever home. They had to spay me, and I still have a bald tummy. Since I was spayed through the feral program (the ferals let me hang with them) I have a tip clipped off of my right ear.

When my new Mamma and Daddy came to see me I let them pet me, and play with me ,within half an hour they were in love they said, and ready to take me home. I have been exploring ever since. Some things I love that I never knew I loved are beds, pillows, chin scratches, Temptations, kisses, and sneaking under the couch. Here is a picture my new Daddy snapped of me in my favorite chill out spot. He wanted t help me show off my whiskers for Whiskers Wednesday. Ash has been telling me about all of the kitties who blog, and teaching me how we visit them. It seems like there are a lot of kitties who I have things in common with, and I want to get to know you all. Back to sleep now though.

Purrs and Meows,

Boo

Tolerance

Hi out there! I have tried to be a very good kitty to Boo. I didn’t see her much yesterday, so I snoozed on the couch with Ash on the other side. Then when I thought Mamma and the boy were going to pet me nonstop to make up for the new comer, Mamma came out holding Boo. I still let her pet me though. I only hissed at her once today, so that means I am a very good Pinky. I plan on getting in my bedroom soon though, and taking up camp there. There is another litter box in there, and if I sneak the new girl’s food, I won’t have any reason to have to leave.

on thankful Thursday

thankful-for-my-bed

Today for Thankful Thursday I am thankful for my bed. My bed is in my room, and it is purrfect for napping on and covering in white furs. The staff sometimes calls it Mamma and Daddy’s room, but we all know whose it really is. It has more of my fur on it than theirs after all. I can lay at the top of the top of the bed and Mamma pets me until she falls asleep.

Mille got the Zombie Chicken Award and passed it to us. Daddy thought it was very cute and funny. He and Mamma watch a lot of scary Zombie movies. Here is the information that came with the award.

zombie_chicken_award There is nothing you need do except pass it on to 5 other blogs.

tummy tuesday

pinkystummy

This is my tummy Tuesday. One picture is me with daddy holding me, and the other I am rolling around getting lovings. Yesterday morning was pretty good, Mamma and I had some time by ourselves and she sang to me, and whistled. Whenever she whistles I squeek and nose bump her. Of course it didn’t last long because Ash had to see what was going on, and he pawed at the door until Mamma let him in too. I spent most of the day sleeping with Mamma. Then I investigated the new box. The small one is Ash sized, this one is purrfect for me. I heard Miss Peach had to go back to the v-e-t about her incision. We will be purring that it is ok.

Snoozy Sunday

snoozingsunday

Snoozing is a great way to spend Sunday morning, or late Saturday night. I have been enjoying all of the pettings and love from the staff. I think it is that and the purrs from my friends that are helping me feel better. Mamma and Daddy started me on the new kitty food today, mixed with some of our old food. We ate them both, so the new must be good too. Thank you all for asking about me, and purring. Have a nice snoozy Sunday.

spring things

We had a nice respect your cat day. It got reallly dark though, we had some storms. I’m brave, and not scared of them. I watched it get dark by watching out the door. Daddy took this picture. Are lots of kitties scared of storms? Or do you watch like me?

Then it got even darker because the staff turned the lights off for earth hour. It was 60 minutes without lights. It was easier to sneak up on people this way. Mamma gave me an Easter egg to play with. It’s not a real egg, it’s plastic, and it is fun to bat around like a ball. They filled a basket up with them to use for our Spring Photo Contest pictures.

If you haven’t entered Baby Patches’s contest, I think you have one week left.
