Awards on Friday

Hi kitties and friends. The fair has been in town this week, and we live very close to the fairgrounds. This can be good and this can be bad. The bad is that every night at 9 O’ Clock at night they start lighting off boomy things. They aren’t tooo scary, but they make you think a storm is coming. Now we are used to it and it will be over soon. When it does get noisy around here I like to go under things. Usually the couch but sometimes the table or bed works too. The other bad is the traffic, but that only bothers the staff so it’s ok. They do have a Cat Show at that fair; I might like seeing that one. I don’t think the rides would be too fun but they might be.

We got an award in our e-mail. Someone from Pet Supplies Place awarded us as Cool Cat Site of the Day. This made us purr a lot. Thank you very much for thinking of us. Then we found out that our furriends Angel and Kirby think our blog has heart. We want to pass it along to these blogs because they all have heart. It says in the rules we only pass it to 6 though. Thank you Angel and Kirby, we really like our award. I hope everycat and friend has a wonderful weekend.

Nose Toes and a Close Up

I was being difficult today. Every time I was in a good pose for a picture I moved as they clicked the clicker. So this might go better for Whiskers Wednesday but it is the best toe picture I allowed them to get for today. To make up for it though I stood still for an extreme close-up. It was really Ash’s fault because he was bouncing around on the dresser and I had to keep making sure he wasn’t going to bounce on me, because he does stuff like that. It’s hard to have a photo shoot with a wild brother bouncing around close by.

ManCat Monday

It’s Mancat Monday, and I haven’t gotten to do one of these posts in 1678 weeks because Mamma doesn’t know how to do things right. Humpph but here it is anyway. Daddy took this picture of me getting used to my harness. I am very good about putting it on now, and they think I will just get better about it. I even tolerate the leash they added to it. A good Mancat has to watch over his territory. Here I can relax on the sidewalk and make sure no other kitties are trying to sneak in on our turf. The only cats I let through are Orange Kitty and Other Kitty. Sometimes I can’t tell it is them though and I get nervous when I see them creeping across the yard way off far. Look at the new rug the grandparents gave me. Well they gave it to Mamma and Daddy, but I love it and thought I was going to keep it. I was mistaken though. I thought if I slept on it enough that they would see it was meant for me and I could have it. Oh well. I did get a new harness. Soon I will be walking on it like the cool kitties do. I was being taken out soopervised, but I started running off to the neighbor’s yard and trying to go under our house. So now they are putting me in harness training. It’s pretty neat, all black with a silver hoopie. The leash even has moon and stars on it. I will tell Daddy I need some photos in it for you to see. For now you can see how I used to be free outside.

white,whiskers and almost wordless Wednesday

Hi out there. I wanted to let my kitty friends know we are still here. Mamma is taking us to visit, so she let me post too. Ash had a cool Birthday and after the comments and all the staff donated $10.00 to the local shelter. My furs that were falling out before I had my surgery are finally growing back in nicely. Boo has settled in and is acting like one of us now. She even swats Ash around, which I like. Ok, going to visit now.

Wordless Wednesday -string lover Boo

ManCat Monday- Ash’s Birthday

Hi kitties, it’s me Ash I hope you remember me. My Mamma felt bad that she had taken so long to blog for us (and she should sheesh). So she decided to make one today for my birthday. I am 2 today, so I get to start working on the terrible two’s. It has been almost two years that I came to live with the staff and this is what I looked like the night I decided I was living here for good. See how little I was, I was about three months old the vet told them that week. The second picture was me a couple of weeks after I got here.

It’s been a good birthday. I got a stinky goodness cupcake topped with temptations and my sisters got some too. I went outside with Daddy and Boo tried to snag my leftovers but they got saved for me. You are all invited to party and for every kitty that comes by and comments the staff is going to follow the lead of others and donate $0.25 a comment to the local animal shelter. They have a low cost spay and neuter clinic and lots of great programs for animals.

I ordered the staff to take care of the following for us at the party. Someone will be working the laser pointer for us.

Plenty of Ham and Shrimp

We can have Meowgaritas and cat milk to drink.

Then we can play with some nip and relax in the chill out zone.

Of course we have Temptations too.

I hope that all of the kitties that come have fun, and that if you need anything you meow at the staff. They have a LOT of making up to do for abandoning our blog for almost a month. Mamma says it is because of medical stuff, but nothing serious. It wasn’t serious enough for her to take that long of a secretary break. So she will make it up to us.

International Box Day

Our friends at Zoolatry are always doing something fun and exciting.  Today is International Box Day. We love boxes here. Well Boo doesn’t seem too interested but Ash and I do like them. Here are some pictures of us enjoying boxes. Our friends we have visited have some nice box pictures up too. It’s a fun day in the blogosphere.

Today is also our Daddy’s Birthday. We’re going to give him lots of kitty fur on his clothes for his Birthday. We think this is a good gift for the staff. What do you all give your beans?

Thankful Thursday

Today is Thankful Thursday. I am actually thankful for my sisfurs today. See how they let me sleep so close to them? I chase them and aggravate them, but they must know I love them. I’m thankful that they are forgiving and kind too. It sure would be boring around here having to confuse the staff all by myself.
